Oh yeah, I has a blog

I took the death of Eva extremely hard and completely withdrew from the internet so I could process everything I was feeling. I'm not all the way there, but I'm to the point where I can take the good from her life and run with it.

Love. Always love. Love often, love fiercely, love love love.

I hope everyone has a stellar Mother's Day and if I am not posting before that, I will see you all Monday!

DIY Spa Products

Who doesn't love a great facial? But really, as a busy woman with a full-time job and an even more hectic Mommy schedule, who has the time for the spa? Now you don't have to sacrifice time you don't have!

Here's a few products I plan on whipping up to pamper myself:

Strawberry Foot Scrub

8 - 10 Strawberries
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Sea Salt or Rock Salt

Mix everything in the food processor or mash it by hand. Massage into feet, about 5 minutes, then let it sit for another 5. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Follow up with your favorite lotion and finish with a clean pair of cotton socks to retain the moisture.
